Just an appropriate option for a couple of nights in Quendon with value for money. The staff were friendly and despite a few hiccups, they managed to keep a pleasant atmosphere. Make sure to arrive early if you want dinner, as the dining options are limited late at night.

We had a good stay with comfy beds and a lovely breakfast spread. The medieval village view was fantastic, and we enjoyed exploring the nearby cricket field where the kids could play freely. The staff were attentive.
In my wife’s opinion, the evening meal prices were a bit steep for families, so it would be great if they offered more budget-friendly dining options.

Had a fantastic group getaway with friends! Enjoyed delicious food from the A La Carte Menu and fantastic roasts. The massive cricket field in front was perfect for the kids to play. We also loved exploring the medieval village surrounded by beautiful fields. Staff was friendly and attentive, which made our stay even better!
The only downside was that our bathroom was quite small, which was a bit uncomfortable for us.

Exceptional experience with large, airy rooms providing comfort and quiet despite the local pub's bustling atmosphere. Breakfast featured delightful twists, like cricket-themed names and superb bubble & squeak sausages. Freeing of the fussiness, the welcoming service made a lasting impression, with staff going above and beyond to ensure a relaxing stay. The food surpassed typical village pub standards, clearly deserving recognition.
